Resiliency for entrepreneurs
The neighbour growing marijuana, drug labs in empty barns or dumped chemical drug waste in nature: these are all forms of undermining crime that are sometimes closer than we think. It is a societal problem that concerns us all, including the rural areas of Brabant. Now more than ever before. How can we work together to reduce the vulnerability of entrepreneurs?
By offering entrepreneurs appropriate action perspectives, we are committed to a vital and safe countryside. This can range from demolishing barns to safely renting out vacant spaces. And by thinking creatively, even more possibilities can emerge, such as hiking trails, rest areas, sustainable vegetable gardens or a corn maze. The key question is: what do entrepreneurs themselves want?
The goal is to use the input of entrepreneurs to develop alternative earning models, and to find an approach that allows rural entrepreneurs to come up with new ideas themselves. The province of North Brabant, Platform Veilig Ondernemen and ZLTO are on this together.
