Nature Building Kit

The Nature Building Kit is an interactive and mobile installation inspired by the biobased pavilion The Exploded View Beyond Building. The kit is part of the Nature Building Project, which engages a broad audience in building a more sustainable living environment. The 12 modular wooden frames and more than 30 biobased building materials can be linked together by magnets.

The water transition offers opportunities for sustainable agriculture and emission-free housing. Traditional building materials are replaced with biobased materials such as bulrush and reed. These plants grow in water, and their cultivation increases biodiversity, absorbs nitrogen and phosphorus, and purifies surface water.

The Nature Building Project is a concept by Company New Heroes and was developed in collaboration with NEMO Science Museum and Biobased Creations. The Nature Building Kit was previously presented at the Embassy of Circular & Biobased Building during DDW22.
