Hek yes!

Increasingly, construction is taking place in areas where people already live. This means that public space is sometimes occupied by construction sites for long periods of time, which is not always pleasant for residents.

Hek yes!

To improve this situation, we are turning excess construction material and fences into furniture and mobile play equipment, called HEK YES (Fence that!). These objects mark space for the residents. You can play with them or picnic on them. Because they have wheels, they are never in the way and are always available.

The movable fences are a bargaining tool for residents and construction workers. The use of the fences shows what activities are popular in the neighbourhood. Designers of future public spaces can take this into account in their designs. Once construction is complete, the fences travel on to the next construction site.
