Äventyrsorkestern
Embark on an adventurous journey of discovery through an invisible world of sound in the city of Umeå. Walk the streets, explore nature and experience how your movements affect the soundscape around you. Äventyrsorkestern, a playful and rule-free orchestra, takes you on an interactive journey in which you are invited to perceive your surroundings in an entirely new way.
What happens when you follow the sound of the cello? And how do your movements influence the soundscape? Fold the cardboard listening shell, open the app on your smartphone, place it in the shell and go!
Äventyrsorkestern is specially designed for the children of the Swedish city of Umeå. The goal: to let them move through their daily environment with more attention, in a more playful, artistic way. The project was created in collaboration with RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) and the Municipality of Umeå, as part of the Social Progress Innovation Sweden project.
