Visit the Embassy of Inclusive Society at Van Abbemuseum now

Want to visit Embassy of Inclusive Society’s expo at your leisure? Then do so even before DDW! For the second year in a row, Embassy will be housed in the Van Abbemuseum. A unique bonus is that the Embassy can be visited earlier. You will find the Embassy as part of the new exhibition ‘The space between us’. This exhibition, a collaboration between Van Abbemuseum and Embassy, questions the role of the museum in society and is anything but classical and museum-like. Interaction, participation and exchange are central. Together, we explore how design shapes our relationships with each other and with the space around us. The Embassy is located at the heart of the exhibition.

Part of Embassy of Inclusive Society

In The Gym, designed by social designer Gabriel Fontana, you will discover the layering of different bodily experiences. In addition, in the Lorem Ipsum installation, designed by The Others, you will discover what inclusive and accessible design means and how to apply the guidelines in practice. ‘The space between us’ can be visited at the Van Abbemuseum from 7 October. Will we see you there?

Tip: Not only are you able to attend an exhibition. Again this year, there will be a programme full of workshops where you can actively learn and unlearn your (thinking) patterns. Check out the current schedule here.
