IPER-Collettivo | Plastic W(e)ave
The designer collective IPER-collettivo (Prato, Italy) operates on the borders between architecture, urban planning, art, and design. The installation Plastic W(e)ave is composed of recycled plastic spools from a loom. The shape, which simulates a wave motion, refers to that origin. The spools, in fact, industrial waste, take on a whole new value and meaning. In this way, the work bridges the gap between local traditions and contemporary production technologies.
