Austeja Platukyte (Lithuania) is both a designer and a scientist. She searches for and researches materials with which people can live in harmony with nature again. As an alternative to plastic, she developed packaging material based on algae. Shape-retaining, waterproof and protective. The material is fully compostable and biodegradable.
