Making Ontwapens live – SMELT

This week there will be two sessions in which Ontwapens will be made for different police officers. On the spot, prototype Ontwapens are created for officers, using simple craft materials and based on interviews done with them beforehand. After the session you will find the police officer with their Ontwapens at the DDW. So who knows, you might also be disarmed that day. There will be a discussion with the audience around the design process of prototype Ontwapens, for the police officer in question, and about the ways in which police officers and citizens interact.
