Visit The Exploded View at Floriade 2022
The Exploded View Beyond Building, one of the showstoppers of Dutch Design Week 2021 is an exhibition in the form of a house that consists entirely of biobased materials, circular building methods and practical stories. Here you can see and experience what is already possible in the field of sustainable building and how it changes the (construction) world. To be visited from now until 9 October at Floriade, in Almere.
The Exploded View is part of the Dutch Innovation Experience at Floriade Expo 2022. This exhibition shows the future of housing construction with sustainability and circularity as leading principles. It shows how many new homes can be built in a short period of time, in a sustainable way with little emission of harmful gases.
This exhibition inspires both professionals and the general public with the possibilities of sustainable building and living, now and in the future. It shows and experiences that a lot is already possible on a big scale, affordable and manageable. By building differently we influence more worlds than just the building world.
Besides The Exploded View Beyond Building, The Growing Pavilion (2019) can also be visited during Floriade. The pavilion, which is 95% circular and 10 tons of CO2 negative, is an ode to biobased materials.
