2050: Choose what you use

Are you open to other water sources and what would you use them for?

Do we realise how much water we use every day? In collaboration with the province of Noord-Brabant, Studio Corvers developed an interactive installation to discover whether the Dutch are open to alternative water sources such as rainwater or second-hand water.

Can you be frugal with drinking water? The Dutch use 120 liters of clean drinking water per day for domestic use. We wash with it and flush the toilet with tap water. We only use 5% of the water for drinking and cooking. Do we realise how much water we use every day?

Every drop counts because Brabant is drying up. We notice this, for example, in the nature reserves that depend on groundwater. We use a lot of groundwater and the stretch is gone by now. We want to turn the tide and avoid using more and more. In order to also have sufficient clean drinking water for the future, we must use it sparingly.

That is why we are curious: how do you think you will deal with water in your home and garden in 2050? Are you open to other water sources and what would you use them for? Can you be frugal with drinking water?
